Sarah read a speech that other people wrote for her from a teleprompter at the convention. She has gone about at campaign events repeating lines from that speech for a couple of weeks now. When interviewed by Charlie Gibson she was revealed to be what most of us with any sense knew her to be: a parochial and extemely limited person with virtually no awareness of foreign policy who holds simplistic views regarding the issues of our time who repeated talking points she had learned by rote because she had nothing of her own to offer.

In a debate with Joe Biden she will have to respond quickly to questions about foreign policy amongst other things where the only background she has will be a McCain campaign cram course she is presently taking. She will try to recite talking points that she has been schooled in, but won't have any deep understanding of many of the issues she might be asked about. Contrast that with Joe Biden's extensive experience in foreign relations and national domestic policy and I think it is pretty apparent that she will be overmatched substantively. She will resort to trying to be cute and deliver zingers that she has been coached to remember. It will be a typically phony display by an unqualified lightweight. However, I fully expect that many will be fooled by her upcoming performance and they will refer to the zingers that someone else wrote for her as some sort of validation of her competence or intelligence. What a joke this is gonna be.
