What type of fern is this?

We have a fern like plant growing out of a pot on our deck in Georgia. It is green with small yellow flowers. The leaves fold in at night to where the branches look like sticks. In the day the branches open up with green soft leaves. The stalk is long and green. It is about 3 feet high. Can you help?

Update:

The flowers are small bell shaped and located near the stem, not on the branches. Also, the seed pods are long and skinny.

I bet it is a variety of Cassia. Do a search for Cassia and see if you can find it. The leaves resemble a Mimosa tree and the yellow flowers are borne on clusters. I hope this helps.
