how long does it take for an evap line to show up?

How long does it take for an evaporation line to show up because that is what my positive line looks like..it is VERY light pink. It shows up instantly..i would think it would take some time for evap lines right? Not right away?

If it has color and showed up quickly then it's not an evap. line it's a positive! Congratulations!!!

If it is pink and showed up in the time it is not an evaporation! Congrats.

I've had one evap line on a test - is showed up in the 10 minute time period but it was white.

You are pregnant! Congrats! Evaporation lines are very rare and would take a long time to show up. I have taken a lot of pregnancy tests since we started having children and I have yet to see even one evaporation line. The three times I got a second line were for my three pregnancies.

    Once again Congrats!

Hey Holly you seemto be really unsure about whether you are or arent pregnant with so many questions posted but from what ive read so far I would say you are hon but you know the drill go to doc to confirm. Congrats if you are but I thought you were already at least six weeks according to an answer you gave me. Hope you get a result soon that will confirm for you.

CONGRATS!! :D it takes a couple of minutes for the evaporation line to appear... If the faint line you are describing appears in the first 5 minutes of the test, it's positive!

a line is a line... but if you want some more certainty, which I did when I first found out I was pregnant, go out and buy the Clear Blue pregnancy test. It is a little more expensive, but seeing the word "PREGNANT" instead of a line that leaves you wondering, is totally worth every penny!!
