Hi :) I'm a frenchie, from Quebec, so please try not to notice the mistakes I might make in Shakepear's language. I love to help and my motto is "who am I to judge?" -- I try to stick by it ;) I have 2 babies, only 1 year apart. They are my pride and joy.
My boyfriend is coming back home!!! How should I greet him?
Looking for a romantic way to greet him!
The children won't be at home (already took care of that)
Thought of buying a nice bottle of wine / porto
He'll be home around 9pm so no diner plans...
Any ideas (except going to bed, of course!)
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoNeed idea for a romantic gesture!!!! Please help!!!!?
My boyfriend has been away for work a lot, lately, and now he's gone for a whole week.
Saturday he'll be back and I made sure that we had a night alone, without the kids. I was looking for ideas for a romantic gesture to show him how much I've missed him. Any ideas??? :)
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoPantry moths...please help!?
I've started having them in october. I cleaned the whole house especialy the kitchen/pantry, put lavender everywhere, got rid of a whole lot of food (I had only cans left!) ... Since then, I've been extra cautious. Every thing is in a tupperware.
I've seen no moths for weeks. And then bam, one per week or so. What's up?
They have no food, so where do they come from?
Also, I always seem to see them the day after I've slept at my boyfriend's... ???
3 AnswersCleaning & Laundry8 years agoI'm really embarassed to ask, but have you ever...?
Let your children watch TV and went back to bed to have sex with your partner? (knowing you hear everything they do, keeping it quiet and a quickie?)
please don't judge me for thinking about it. I haven't done it but I was wondering if normal couples do this or not?
6 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoIs it love, or is it a rebound?
I'm just out of a 7 years relationship. It had been 2 years of me wanting to leave him, but staying for the kids. Then wanting to leave, but getting accidently pregnant, so staying. There was no more love. And the I met the Other One. It hit me. I was in love. He's an awesome man, an awesome person in general : generous, kind, loving. We are taking it very slow, volontarly, knowing I'm just out of a serious relationship an all. Things are going pretty well, even though I sometimes find myself craving for more (we don't say ''i love you'', but we do spend a lot of time together, not only being intimate but hanging out) ... We do behave like an old couple, though.
Lately, Ive been noticing more an more little things that might bother me in a long time relationship. I have a hard time telling if i'd get used to it or just annoyed. I try to tell myself that only time will tell. I'm still very much attracted to him and we get along great, we understand each other by a glance. He treats me like a princess and I know that men like that are rare and I might never find another one like him (just ask any of my girlfriends, they're all jealous). But I'm still afraid it might be a rebound... Is there any way to be sure it's Love and not just a Rebound?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoWhy do men call when drunk?
I've been dating a guy for a little over 3 months. Things are going really well, but we do not say 'i love you' yet. I'm waiting for him to say it first... well, sober!
He calls me every time he gets drunk (once saying I love you over 10 times in a row, or last night saying he thought about me all night long and was worried cause he knew i was feeling down... )
Why do guys do that? Why does he call? Does he mean what he says when he's drunk?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoJust don't know what to do next...???? Please answer :(?
Hi ;) I'm a mother of 2, but I have been pregnant 3 times (m/c baby #3)
Lately I've been using nuvaring not to get pregnant as I got separated and am dating a new man. I have been undergoing lots of stress, with the separation, moving away with the children, etc... but I've never felt like that because of stress before.
Last week, I got brown discharge for 2-3 days and considered it might be my period (even though it was early) Saturday was the day I 'take off' the nuvaring, I'm suppose to have my period over the course of this week, like on the pill (the week you take placebo) But since saturday, I've been feeling really pregnant (tired, nauseous, you name it...) so yesterday I tested. Was negative.
I still am very nervous... Still feel pregnant. Feel like my body is telling me something and medicine is saying the other...!!!! What should I do now?????

The guy I've been dating for over two months said he loved me. But here comes the catch : he was drunk. Should I just forget it or believe it?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating10 years agoPregnant and so tired I'm getting sick. Need advice please!?
I'm a mother of two (32 month old girl and 20 month old boy) and pregnant with baby3 (9 weeks)
I know it is normal to experience fatigue in the first months of pregnancy but this is ... difficult. I absolutely need a nap or else I get physically sick (migraine, vomiting, etc) ... and you must understand with two young children, sleep isn't always easy to get. I'm a SAHM so I can't rest during the day either. Do you have tips to help me feel better? I'm seeing the doctor in 2 weeks (regular appointment, first of my pregnancy)
6 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoLittle bit confused about cycle / pregnancy question?
I usually take note of my period in my calendar. But I forgot to note my very last one. But it seems like it was quite a while ago, and I had a pregnancy "scare" (scare is a big word, we would both be happy and able to care for the baby and it would be our third child; but it is still unplanned)
I've tested twice (once 2 weeks ago, once this morning) and still no cycle.
So now I'm wondering if anybody has an advice as to what I should do next???
ps : I'm not on the pill. We sometimes (read : rarely) use the condom, sometimes withdrawal, and sometimes fully risky! then again we would be very happy, but we are not trying, that is all.
4 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoPeculiar questions about comfort objects?
My daughter is 2yrs old. She started, when she was young and bottlefed, to use my hair to fall asleep. She caressed the hairs that felt on my shoulders. I tried, throughout the years, to get her "interested" in an other comfort object but she just won't let go!!!!! Now I really think that since she is a big girl, it would be nice if she could fall asleep without me by her side... She doesn't need me. It's the hair and only the hair she wants. What can I do???? has this ever happened to anyone else????
2 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoMirena and feeling preggers?
I've been using mirena for quite some time, now. It's been a year at the least. Lately, I've been feeling more tired, cramping, slight nausea...
I've been pregnant twice so I know my symptoms but could this be Mirena side effects or should I just go ahead and test?
(haven't had any cycle for quite a while now but I know this can happen with mirena)

1 AnswerBandes dessinées et animation1 decade agoHow would you feel, as a parent...?
I just learned, earlier this week, that a pedophile (who has been released after going to jail) was living on our street. How would you feel in such a situation? Worst of all, he lives right by the park (so do I, so the only thing between us is this park). Would you tell other parents? What would you do? right now my children are only 1-2 yrs old so they're never alone. I still hate this.
7 AnswersParenting1 decade agoMommies, I'm so lost! Desperately seeking your advice! --bedtime, crying out, etc?
My boy is 10 month old. He's an adorable bundle of joy... but lately, nights have been kinda short. He wakes up 3-5 times per night. It's been over a month. We went to the doctors who said he was perfectly healthy...
So, following the common advice, exhausted, I let him cry a bit. Not much. I had in mind to try the 5-10-15 method. But before the 5 minute was over, he started vomiting. A lot.
It's not the first time I notice he has a tendency to vomit when he cries too much, but the other times were in different situations and only a bit of spit up. This was the whole meal and the milk as well. He didn't eat anything new.
Is my little boy normal? should I seek medical advise? I can't let him cry, now, but we still need some sleep...

8 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhy won't my 10 month old boy sleep?!?
Every night is pretty much the same. We have a hard time getting him to sleep and when, at last, he does (sometimes it will take a car ride) it's only for a couple of hours. The he wakes up, and depending of the time it is it's either for an hour or for the rest of the night. We've taken him to the doctor who made sure there was obvious problem. He doesn't seem to be teething right now, but when we give him some advil, he does sleep until the effects wear off. It makes me wonder if he's in some sort of pain but doctor didn't bother much! I can't really let him cry it out as he would wake his 22 months old sister (I figure one baby not sleeping is more then enough). It's been more then a month since he has had a good night. Worst nights, he barely sleeps and daddy and I have to help each other through the night (usually, daddy doesn't help much)
I'm getting exhausted.
2 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoPotty training difficulties! ;P?
My little girl is almost 2 and I have started (no stress) potty training her. She tells me when she needs to use the potty, and sits there willingfully but restrains herself from doing anything. As soon as she's off the potty, she does whatever she had to do! How could I resolve this? I have tried explaining it to her with books or showing her how I do it (sorry if this sounds weird) or just explaining. I have also tried not puttin any pull-up on and letting her play in a dress and undies, but she doesn't seem to mind peeing on the floor (at first she said big "oh nos" but now, she just laughs it up!)
I never shout or anything, and I'm really patient but after a month of this... I wonder what I'm doing wrong
4 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoWhat's up with me? migraines or more? please answer (repost)?
I've been having migraines forever. But lately, it's every day and my usual medication barely relieves me. One week ago, I fell on the floor : my legs just turned to jell-o. Muscle fatigue. It went away like 30 minutes after that (I still felt weak, but I could stand). Today, I've been feeling dizzy, and then, I felt a sensation of pins and needles in the extremity of my legs and arms. I will call today for an appointment with a doctor, but I'm worried. What could be up with me? anybody knows?
2 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoAnybody knows Ikea a lot?
I heard there was a slide that they sold... Not the little red one that's in the magazine, but a much bigger one. Someone told me that but I'm not sure if she was confused or if it's true. She said it was shaped like a boat. Anybody can tell me if it's true? it's not on the website either. I go often but it's 1h30 drive so I only go when I need something, don't wanna go for "nothing"
