Is John McCain todays version of Herbert Hoover? ?

Two SU V's in every garage and chicken in evey pot. As Hoover said prosperity is just around the corner.

    Apparently. McCain can't be honest about the economy because it makes his fellow Republican Bush look bad. Attention focused on the bad economy would also highlight the fact that McCain's economic policies are the same as Bush's.

    McCain has no choice but to act like Herbert Hoover and pretend that things are not so bad.

    No - Barack Obama is the equivalent of Hoover. Hoover put up taxes and spending and increased trade restrictions. McCain says he wants to cut taxes and spending and wants to increase markets for our goods and services. Hoover was a liberal Republican. Senator Obama is a liberal Democrat. It is the liberal that is key, not the party.

    McSame has ceased to life in the real world about 40 years ago. He was shot down bombing women on rice fields, broke both his arms in the accident, the Vietcong nursed him back to health, send him home and he is whining about his bravery ever since.

    Despite an admiral as daddy, never had a leading position in the military

    Had an affair on his wife when she was sick

    Married the second time for money (200 Million)

    Has sucked up to Bush for 8 years

    Was heavily involved in the Keating Five corruption scandal

    On Oct. 25, 1929, Herbert Hoover mentioned, "the elementary organisation of the rustic is on a valid and rich foundation." This replaced into the day after the inventory marketplace crash. On 9/15/08, John McCain mentioned, "Our economic gadget i think of, nonetheless, the basics of our economic gadget are solid."
