sleep deprivation; lower income unable to provide the necessities that children will need for the next 18years of there life. Being dependent on there own family for support. Is more likely to be a single parent as partner si less likely to stay and support child and relationship. Loss of education and is more likely to end up in a minimal job with lower pay. More like;y to end up pregnant again before they finish there teens. Loss of childhood; loss of friends; there own child is more likely to also be a teenage parent. For a young girl who is pregnant or even sexually active before the age of 19 she has a very high chance of contracting HPV which can later cause cervical cancer. Teenagers have the inability to see past a babies first year of life they always refer to having a baby not a child and they cannot foresee that this child will need care and financial support for at least 18yrs not just 1. I hope this has helped.

Emotional Problems of Teen Pregnancy:
Loneliness - Many of your friends dump you because you are not any fun any more. Baby daddy's can just take off, baby momma can't take off, she is stuck for the next 18 years. Your family could throw you out in the street, this is common. Very hard to match up with a new partner if you break up with the father, and many do, as you now have a baby and no time for dating and your options are limited. Most of your friends are not pregnant and don't understand why you can't come out. Can't go to school anymore because there is no one to take care of the baby. Lose your high school friends and future goals as you drop out of school and get a low wage job for life. Only 30% of pregnant teens finish high school, even if they wanted to and only 1% of teen parents go on to complete college. I think this is the saddest part of teen pregnancy and occurs whenever a teen does not have partner and family support for the baby. Some sites below. You are doing a good job so far.

Another thing that might be possible for you to mention is society's natural reaction to teenage parents. It seems like people are quicker to not give you a chance, you know? Some might automatically not consider a teenage mother to be a credible parent.
I am not agreeing with that at all, but it happens!

it sucks when you're friends go out and you can't because the baby is sick or asleep. and when it cries and won't stop.
