1. Allied Airlines charges 90$ for a ticket to fly between two cities 260 mi apart and 150$ for a ticket to fly between two cities 500 mi apart. At this rate, what would it cost for a trip between two cities 1000 mi apart?

1 $260, I reached this by plotting the first two costs on a graph and following the slope to 1000 mile
2 a) 179 pounds, I reached this by plotting the weights on a graph and following the slope backwards to 0 days
b) 70 days, I reached this by using the same graph and following the slope to 165 pounds.
