3 examples of how the bill of rights reflected an experience the colonists had with the british?!?

    1. The BOR says you have the right to bear arms, which was relevant to when there were attacks against torys, or even rebels. They were allowed to carry guns in case of attack.

    2. Freedom of Press: The British usually had a say in what was published, but not after that.

    3. Freedom to Petition: The citizens weren't allowed to get together and say what they wanted. Now they could.
