How do I know if I have enough space on my pc for a program?

I will be downloading a program to my computer from a set of discs. How do I make sure that I have plenty of memory for the program to run and not make my computer slow?

There are usually minimum requirements listed on the physical box, or on the website. If you have enough memory to satisfy that, it's usually okay.

Go into My Computer, let your mouse hover above the drive you use mainly. It's usually Local Disk C:. It should show how much space in total and how much space is currently used. If that doesn't work, right click Local Disk C:, then click properties. Give it a minute or two, and it'll show you how much you've used and how much you have left. Then like the person said before, read the box and find out the phycial requirements. Should say HD Space Required, or Disk Space: something along those lines.
