Has anyone ever fished the pier at Navy Lodge in Corpus Christi, TX?

I'm planning a trip down to Corpus Christi, TX this week-end. If anybody has any info about the fishing pier at the Navy Lodge, could you share? Is it even worth my time, or should I find somewhere else to fish?

Update:

Actually, the hurricane went through Houston, not Corpus Christi. I already called and there's no damage.

you might want to call a bait shop done there and see if it's even worth going after the HURRICANE went through there

Source(s): Dude any time you get to go fishing its worth your time. fishing is supposed to be a relaxing experience, taking time to destress from life. and if you catch fish while your destressing then BONUS. so i say throw caution to the wind and go try somewhere new, who knows you might end up somewhere all together and find a better spot
