Belt driven or Direct drive coupler (is there a belt?). Is it full of water after the cycle? Or are the clothes just wet, with only some water left in the tub? Do the other cycles work (IE adjitation)? Answer these questions and I can help, And DON"T call sears... Yet.

    ** EDIT**

OK. Assuming it is running while trying to pump out...

1st off, your pump hooks directly to you motor with two clips. because your washer is a Direct drive, **and** the motor is running__ You may have a impeller that is broken internally in the pump__ Common pump, gonna cost $45.00 (ish). OR you may have something like a sock stuck between the tub and the pump. Can you blow air in the hose?

2nd, if it's not running in spin...

Check to see if the lid Switch is making contact. This is easily done by raising and lowering the lid and listening for the "click" noise. If it's not clicking, the armature or the switch itself may be bad.

There may be (but unlikely) another problem causing this. But, for those you will need an appliance tech.

Try cleaning out the exit filter which is usually under a swinging flap at the front of the machine. If it isn't there it will be somewhere easily accessible. This should be cleaned every 2 weeks. Also the outlet hose could be blocked with a build up of debris and soap that gets stuck over a period of time.

Check the lid switch. Mine had the same problem, it turned out I broke the lid switch when I slammed the lid down.

I think you should call Sears.
