My husband after 25 years of being out of school ( he is 40) is back in college, to become an electrician, Does anyone know if this is a good career move and about what salaries start at for this line of work

Well, sine I don't know what your husband did before deciding to become an electrician, I can't answer whether it was a good career move or not. But, I have posted a page with a bunch more info on electrician jobs, The page covers training, demand, wages, etc.
