A scientific fact is a descriptor of a previously proved hypothesis. New facts may be revealed down the road that shed new light and change minds causing revision, therefore a new hypotheses is needed and if proved...brings about a new "fact"

I believe the term "scientific fact" is a unique qualifier in as much as facts by themselves are, by definition, unchanging and synonymous with the word Truth. To call it a "scientific" fact is to basically put an asterisk next to the word "fact".

If scientific fact is what I believe it to be, then true. Scientific fact is a truth about science, whether we humans have discovered it or not. It just is what it is and you can't change it. However if you had of said theory, then yes, we can change it because theory is something that mankind develops, and is prone to falsities. Scientific fact just is, and cannot be changed. It is the absolute truth about whatever it applies to.

Scientific fact is universal and thus unchanging. Human understanding of scientific fact is and has always been changing.

    False.

The greatest thing about science is that it continues to learn, grow, and change.

In science we have theory and law. Very few things ever become law. Most scientific "facts" are theories. The Earth revolving around the Sun is only a theory for example.

Even laws can be changed if science discovers one to be incorrect.

what is thought to be a scientific fact isnt suppose to change if it does than it is disclosed as scientific fact and thrown out.

so true. scientific fact IS absolutely unchanging.

No. It's changable. There could have always been error during experiments and what not.

True. But people find new ways to invent new products to break the law of physics.
