Okay i think i know,...
The Ipod type (nano)
Right?
okay plug it through usb and to your computer
Download or open up Itunes 7 and sync it from there, or add the songs to your library and then move them to your ipod or sync them,..
if that doesnt work, ask someone else lol :)
good luck.. =)

Try restoring your iPod to the factory settings (you can do this simply by clicking that option when you're in iTunes and connected). It will take all of your music off, but that should fix the problem.
You can also call applecare directly. They've got AMAZING customer service. Good luck!

make sure you have itunes for a start

in your itunes see if you can reset it to factory settings.. or.. let the batteries drain fully (will take a while) till it shuts off and try it then. letting it drain will clear the memory and any errors.

If all of your songs are on your pc, you can do a reset on the iPod. This will correct most errors.
