Will my old Mac games work on my new Mac?
I have this awesome Game called Gahan Wilson's Ultimate Haunted House. I got it early/mid 90s back when I was running 7.2.1. I bought a new Mac G4 running OSX back when they first came out (2003/4 I believe). When I purchased this tower the sales person said running an old game on my new Mac can cause damage to my tower and advised that I don't play any of my old games. Aww boo. I can live without number munches but I can't live without my Haunted House game. Does anyone have any more details on if what the store dude told me is true and how to tell if you game will cause trouble?
Oh, I also got a new laptop, 10.4 but I don't have Classic so even if I was daring i couldn't play it on my laptop. Do you know where I can download classic?

You could have easily (and safely) run it on your G4 in Classic. But your new machine (unless it was actually used) is an Intel machine and will not run anything but OS X. No more Classic support, no more OS 9.
That said, there is a way around the issue. Sheepshaver:

It's not perfect, but it certainly worth a shot if it's that important to you.

You would have to install the Mac Classic emulator first.
