My dog's head shakes first thing in the morning....?
The last 2 mornings when my dog first wakes up his head is shaking uncontrollably.... but only lasts about 10 seconds then stops and does not come back again the rest of the day.... any ideas??... he is a 14 month old boxer

he's definitely not yawning he just raises his head up and his head starts shaking like someone with parkinson's.... it's weird as soon as I pet him it stops.... just a few seconds

my bullmastiff was doing the same thing , so i took her to the vet and it just turned out to be a build up of ear wax, maybe it's the same thing .. hope this helps

Depends what you mean by shaking. When my Keeshond wakes up he stretches his neck and his head will shake just like a human but if his head is just shaking by itself I would have that checked out by a vet. Better safe than sorry

i dont think its anything to be worried about my dogs do it to when they wake up but if its the first times hes been doin it then maybe he should be taken to the wet tho.
