Is is legal for an Arizona Business Employer?
to require you to clock out and not pay you for your breaks?
Also if we don't clock out for our breaks we will see the result of it on our next weeks schedule (1 less day scheduled). Please quote actual Arizona Law.

YES, breaks may be unpaid but.............
if they are the break must be at least 20 minutes uninterrupted by any work activity,
a bona fide meal break must be at least 30 minutes uninterrupted by any work activity.
this is based on what is considered work time by definition of the department of labor.

Arizona law does not require any breaks be given for adults but if they are given whether they are paid or unpaid is based on the length of the break and the definition set by the department of labor.
SO...................
if the break is less then 20 minutes or ANY work is done on break then it must be paid time.
