Cover song of the day, R&P...?

Hi Silver!

What an interesting choice; for one, I think it's a great song, and, two, it's a wonderfully-interpreted cover by Sandi Thom. I've never heard of her before - leave it to another R&P regular to introduce my ears to a new artist. Domo arigato gozaimashita, Silver-san. (That is to say, thank you very much, Silver!)

Sandi just recreates this from the ground up; it has such a different quality of energy, character and tone from Seal's version. Striking. The video images were pretty cool, too. : )

Haha really? Usually people think that her type of music is right up my alley. XD Ok I just listened to the original and as much as I prefer female vocals, I like the guy's voice better in this song! I'm shocked, haha. But I like the music of the cover better.

Eeurgh, I still haven't heard Bleeding Heart yet lol. Maybe I'll listen to that cover first, since Leona Lewis is blegh.

Ummmm... it's ok, i'm not a fan of the vocals. though instrumental-wise, it's better than the original.

I like the song, but it's a catchy song in general. I don't think anyone could do a terrible version of it. This one you posted, surprisingly, has a country western feel to it. Its sort of surprising...LOL

That was really good. I'm not crazy about Seal but that was a great song and this a really good cover.

I didn't like that song before, and was hoping this would give me a new perspective on it, but for some reason that song just rubs nme the wrong way I guess.

I was only able to listen to the first few seconds but from what I heard it was noteworthy. I have really never cared for that song :(
