I know pre-1965 quarters are 90% silver, but is that BEFORE 1965 or 1965 AND later? ?
I have four quarters from 1965 and I was wondering if they are the 90% silver coins. I just wanted to clarify, thanks.

The US Washington silver quarter coin was issued with Washington on the front and an eagle on the reverse from 1932 til 1964. After 1964 copper nickel composition was issued. The copper nickel version has only in an excellent condition a higher value. See the reference for prices.

It's 1964 and earlier.
So 1965 doesn't count.
In fact, it's very easy to tell, just look at the sides, you usually expect to see a copper line on a regular copper quarter. If it's silver like the rest of the coin, it's silver.

Depends on WHAT YEAR they are, as well as what mint mark and what condition they're in. Check eBay for similar coins to get a general idea of their worth.
