It all depends on the style of the restaurant in my opinion. Is it like a mom and pop type restaurant, (something like Luigi's) or is it more of a wine and dine restaurant. If it's like a family restuarant like Luigi's then something like 6.99 to 8.49 would be good. If it's a fine dining restaurant, then anywhere from 11.42 to 19.83 dollars is the rate out here in California. Some of the big extravigant ones charge almost $30 dollars a plate as well. So I guess it would depend on what state your in, and what type of restaurant for Italian cuisine you would have.

You'll get more business if you make it lower. But the atomosphere is what you'd need to base your decision on.

I think it depends on the quality. I love to go to Italian restaurants myself. I believe $8.99 would be good price because you are including the salad and breadsticks. The shells should be really big and cheesy though. And if you had basil or some decoration, people will think it is an expensive meal. you know how we are. lol

  • Well when you are trying to price a selection on your menu you have to take in consideration EVERY ingredient it takes to make that plate, then how many hours does it take to prepare those items (you have to pay someone to make it), then multiply that times 4 and that is your menu price.
