What games are suitable for my laptop?

Ello, I'd like to know of some good games for my laptop. I pretty much like all genres, and I don't use the touchpad as I prefer a mouse.

Specs:

CPU: 2.00 GHz Core 2 Duo (strangely however, the laptop has a centrino 2 sticker)

GPU: Nvidia M 7600 GT

RAM: 2 GB

Windows Vista Home Premium

The laptop is an HP dv5

thanks

Update:

ahhh sry, its a M 9600 GT, i gt a 7600 gt on my desktop

That 9600 is fully DX-10 compatible

However, it is only a mid-range chip so most games will play better if they have a DX-9 selection available in their settings. The additional eye candy in DX-10 is both subtle and demanding on the graphics chip so often not worth it.

You will be able to play anything you want with that chip with some 2007/2008 games needing reduced settings...

That's a powerful graphics card however just because it's powerful doesn't mean it'll run the latest game.

It's supports version 9 directx and will run games using directx 9 very well.

Most games now use version 10 directx. Newer games won't play on your card due to this.

On the back cover of games check to see if it's directx 9 or 10. If it's 9 you'll be able to play it at full graphics.

You'll be able to play new games such as football manager 09 (out in oct/nov) since the're not graphics intense.

    Hope this has helped.

    EDIT.

having said that. I've looked on the back of my world in conflict box. and the Geforce 7600GT is on the recommended spec.

so your pC will be able to play most current games.

You can pretty much play any current game you like on your system

You're not gonna like this, but I wouldn't try to run anything younger than a year on it. Otherwise, you've got more than enough grunt to play anything with good quality graphics.

If you are stuck for a particular game, try Trackmania United Forever, great game. I would recommend getting an Xbox360 wired pad as well if you're going to play driving games.

you can run most games like diablo 2 and neverwinter nights but probably none of the modern video intensive games that 7600 is geared more toward wordprocessing and office use than gaming in fact a lappy with intel extreme graphics would do better than that one.
