Shut questions out...
Satin pillowcase dreams...
Spirits walk in the bedroom...
My Father carries his pool cue...
My Mother, her dish towel...

Memories wet the pillowcase...

Tickles with her eyelashes...
I didn't lock the door...

When she posts a serious poem, she flirts with the Masters. She has a unique way with words and images that few of us who claim to write poetry can attain. One of her themes is Time and she expresses that theme in many different fashions. Her serious poetry is always a joy to read.

I wet my pillowcase too...thinking of the deceased memory. For that i truly appreciate the sentiment and art behind the making of this poem.

Pushing my studies aside, i don't think i'll have enough passion to get it done in the future. I completely agree. Elysabeth is an artist of words. Sometimes you have to look past the art to get to the matter and sometimes it's upfront and in your face. I always enjoy her serious work as well as her not so serious work. I'm glad you featured her in your top ten because she deserves it.
