Why is the ozone hole talked about in the arctic or antarctic region only?

Although the hole-causing material like freon gas etc. go up in the atmosphere from all over the earth.

Because Ozone is created by oxygen absorbing the UV radiation.

UV is strongest along the equator there never will be a hole.

Will the planetary tilt both poles are away from the sun long enough for the ozone which is unstable to disassociate back to O2.

In the end the "hole" is dictated by physics. It is used to intimate people and fund more studies, but there never was a danger. The Norwegians spotted the hole in the 50s. Anyone convinced the hole was man made is deluded.

It's the difference between arc and antarc, as in Atlas and Antiatlas.. the same but different. Antarctica is a land mass even though much of it is buried under snow and ice. The Arctic is just frozen ocean, with no land mass. So I guess that would be a main difference; they are both pretty chilly at times, long days and nights.

ozone layer is formed by a special kind of oxygen molecules.(3 atoms form a single molecule).it prtects us from the harmful efects of UV.ozone is thinning across the whole world due effects of compounds like CFCs.the ozone layer is more thick at the equator and a lil tnih at poles.but the thnning of ozone is occuring more at the poles.dis is resulting in melting of ice caps at the poles leading to a rise in the sea levele.so the issue is more discussed withe respect to the poles.
