There is nothing wrong with girls wanting to join the Marines.

You have all the right in the world, just as everybody else to join.

Don't let none of that nonsense get to you, just ignore it and move on to pursue great things in your life.

The concept isn't so strange really. The United States Army has been used video games such as America's Army to provide the public a virtual soldier experience and hopefully bolster their recruitment. That is not saying that I support this idea or think that it is a good idea. Enlisting just to be able to have a m16 and live out a video game may not be the best reason. In virtual games, death just means game over but in the marines, death means life over. There is also a very long commitment that is very hard to get out of if you suddenly change your mind. Think carefully before enlisting. It could be very rewarding or hell on earth.

There is nothing wrong with it. The thing is that it's not an evironment that is the same for women. It's hard to explain, I just retired and I'm glad I did it but really, I was lucky and I know many others who were not. It's sort of like you have to change who you are to fit in. Marines are trained to kill; that is their mission. Is that what you want?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with women joining the Marines. Women serve a crucial part of our armed forces.

There's nothing wrong with the WOMEN who join the US Marine Corps, or any other branch of the US Military...

They're the bravest women in the nation, in my opinion.

Nothing at all , as long as they are treated the same as men, as

a retired army soldier, 22yrs, I have seen too many females given

preferential treatment compared to men, however I believe in equal

opportunity to all in getting ahead.

The problem is that they are all man-haters who are only there to kill as many men as they can. Once they realize that they cannot just randomly exterminate any man they see then they get mean and try to take it out on everyone around them. That makes everyone tense and in a bad mood. Nothing worse than a Marine who is tense and in a bad mood. And then their monthly Curse rolls around and...
