... oh yeah, and why? It's a landmark to not only New York city, or New York state but to this entire nation.
Does anyone have a specific date?
I was hoping I would be able to stand outside and cheer.

They are building a new ball park down the road, so it's not necessary they have the old one there. Plus, its old falling apart on it own. Landmark yeah... but even the Romans took some of the Colosseum when they needed too. Just part of life.

They are tearing it down because they are the Yankees and they need to have the newest and the best over everybody else. They are tearing it down after tonight's game. It being there last home game of the season. The new stadium will open next season for use.

cuz its kinda fallin apart n they can make more money w the new stadium but its still so sad...
