I found a new Iphone 3g. I would like to connected it but i am not sure if it is possible..Please let me know?

I am not sure because at this time is disable so is locked. I went to a local store and they said they could unlock it for me but the question is will the previous owner's information be stored in it? Please help me!

Update:

It did not have a chip so i do not know who the owner is..If i would i would returned it!

    Don't be a douche. You didn't find it, YOU"RE STEALING IT. It HAS the previous owners information on it. Use that to contact them and return the phone.

    I have to agree w/ Vic. Although I wouldnt call you a douche, but the phone isnt yours. How would YOU feel if you had left your phone somewhere? Wouldnt you want the person who found it to do the RIGHT thing and return it to its RIGHTFUL owner?

    keeping it might desire to look all properly and robust however the probably hood is, O2 will inevitably block it quickly adequate whilst somebody comments it as misplaced so any credit you place on the telephone to apply that's going to be misplaced and the telephone would be unusable to all and sundry which you will besides return it to the keep.
