Alcohol yes, but not marijuana. I have been with people driving high so many times and they are actually more diligent and attentive drivers than when they are sober because they are compensating for their inebriated state. They are ultra aware of their symptoms as well. It helps to be educated about the effects of whatever substance.
That being said no formal studies have ever been done on it so this is all opinion.

Talking on the cell phone or texting is more dangereous than driving under the influence of any substance.
This was proven by a study in Germany few years back. They then banned Mobile phone use.

human beings of late have shown by technique of their finished lack of difficulty for others and they don't care about every person yet themselves. they are the middle of their own international and to h e l l with each and all people else. in the course of the Nineteen 1970s human beings were area of the "me" technology notwithstanding it has lengthy gone a lot further than than in only 30 yrs. at present, we heard of two trains that hit one yet another head-on because between the conductors replaced into texting 2 teenage boys really of gazing the tracks ahead. It does seem worse than inebriated driving. Why? because those those who textual content and rigidity recognize precisely what they are doing and do it besides. they have finished posession of their colleges yet are busy questioning about themselves and how important they are really than taking into consideration ways many fragile lives they carry of their fingers and how a lot metallic they administration with a unmarried lever or guidance wheel. What they do is egocentric and callous. i ask your self in basic terms how their lives will be affected after the disaster. they are those who can ought to describe to their God on their very last day in basic terms how they managed to take the existence of even one individual simply by their negligence. How will they justify their existence after that? inebriated driving is likewise a terrible crime and there's no excuse for paying for in the back of the wheel both. that human beings lose their lives or high quality of existence at the same time as a motive force is texting or inebriated is reprehensible on both counts. such an excellent number of circumstances I listen of an twist of destiny that I want that I had a magic wand to save the innocents alive at the same time as the criminal is the only which dies in his/her own twist of destiny. driving isn't a excellent, it really is a priveledge.

i think that they are as equally as dangerous as each other, because under the influence you are either tripping balls or seeing double and if your texting your not watching the road and have one or no hands on the wheel (yes people drive with their knees) which then means you can crash for not having control over the vehicle

While you are under the influence you are still able to see what is going on but if you're texting you're not paying attention or using your hands to drive....

All are stupid behavior while driving. But, not knowing how drunk or stoned, I will go with texting (since the idiot texting is not looking at the road!).

Basically just the same cause txting your not paying attention to the road & being drunk your vision is impaired. All I can say is don't do either one.
