Clean my Camelback water bottle lid?
I have a camelback water bottle, not the backpack. It has a flip-up bite valve to drink from. Around and underneath the flip-up bite valve thing I'm starting to see green stuff, that I can't reach with anything to clean it off and make it sanitary again.
I have been using this bottle constantly for about 4 months. I have cleaned the bottle itself out, but can't figure out how to get in the crevasses of the lid.
How can I clean and de-nasty the lid, while leaving it safe to drink out of and not ruining it?

use an old toothbrush and some dish soap and water. You can also try a solution of 25% bleach in water. Rinse thoroughly before using.
