Etoptic Pregnancy sterile? ?
Can an etopic pregnancy make you sterile, or damage you so much that you are not able to have kids?

Yes, depending on where the embryo tries to grow. If it's hanging out in your fallopian tube, and this breaks, now you've only got 1. So that decreases your fertility. I suppose this would have to happen twice for you to become infertle, but you see what I'm getting at.

Well not necessarily, but it could be a possibility. Since it is possible for you to get pregnant. From what I have read is that you do have a 15% chance of having another Etoptic pregnancy but more than 40% of the women who had one Etoptic pregnancy go one to have a normal pregnancy. Good luck.

The chances are good for being able to have a successful pregnancy again, although your risk of having another ectopic pregnancy is increased. It is a possibility of sterilization depending on where the ectopic is and if it ruptures or not, but normally you are always left with at least one tube, giving you a chance to get pregnant. I had an ectopic last June but caught it before it ruptured and I am now 28 weeks pregnant with our third child.
