We live in the Seattle/Tacoma area and I want to give him a great night. His Birthday is 9/30 but we are celebrating it 10/1 due to scheduling. It will be 4 adults 1 child. I want to take him out for something more then a meal. But I want to stay under $300.

it really depends on what his interests are.
You could get him a gourmet cake.
Also, you could get him fifty small items. Perhaps a man would also like an engraved pocket watch.
