What is the proper way to use punctuation for a Film Title?

Parenthesis? " Single parenthesis(don't know the term if there is one)? '

Update:

when used in a message it seems to be poper to use parenthesis. Have seen it as such.

Update 2:

Need an English Major I guess.

Update 3:

You would use inverted commas, also known as quotation marks.

I went to see "Star Wars" before you were even born.

My favorite Spielberg film is probably "Schindler's List."

    Hope that helps!

Parenthesis (sing.)/Parentheses (plural) are this ( and this )

I don't see why you would need parentheses.unless the title had an alternative. A normal title would have Capital letters for each word, and possibly a full stop at the end.

Example : Raiders of the Lost Ark.

    Title using parentheses: (fictional)

Seven Ways to Rob a Bank (And Not Get Caught)

    Hope this helps.
