how long does 2nd class royal mail take to deliver?

I am waiting for a letter sent by second class post 6 months ago. The answer to when it should arrive is 2- 4 days, or perhaps even longer, like 6 months plus.

According to the phrase "2nd. Class", it should take TWO days but the normal acceptance of time is 2 to 4 days.

However, sometimes it can take longer and in many cases, due to the Royal Mail's lack of service, I have known mail never arrive at it's destination.

The promise for 2nd Class mail is 2 days. that is post day one and arrive day 3

I was trying to find out via the Post Office web site but it's not working, bloody morons. 4 days and no sign of it, last time I send a birthday card in the post.
