I don't know where you're getting your information. From what I've seen he's been in daily contact with several key players in the committee. He's never claimed to be an economist. A good manager knows effective use of resources. Why should he be trying to lead the experts? There was no reason for him to go to Washington until Bush called a special meeting. And as he said, a President has to Multi Task. We have problems with the Economy, Iraq, Iran, Russia, high energy costs and global warming. Do you want a President that can only deal with one thing at a time?
