traveling at six months?

At 24 weeks pregnant wanting to travel by car 7 hours away. Should it be safe to travel? Has anyone else done this and had no problems?

Update:

As long as there are no complications with the pregnancy there shouldn't be a problem.

Just remind your daughter to stay well hydrated, eat properly and take regular breaks to stretch her legs (pregnant women are at a higher risk of blood clots). Also might be a good idea to keep a list of local doctors or hospitals near her destination, just in case.

I traveled in a car from WA to WI at 24 weeks. You're fine. It's after 34 weeks that travel is restricted.

Perfectly fine as long as its not 8 or 9 months. My great grandmother once was traveling because her husband was in the army. She was going back to America in just a few weeks but she accidently had her baby in Germany. Now that child (aka my grandma) is citizens in Germany and America. She can rome freely in both countries. Oh how I sometimes envy her. You gotta admit thats pretty cool.

You'll be fine to travel just make sure you have frequent rest stops to use the bathroom, stretch, and bring lots of fluids. Have fun!

My doctor says your fine for traveling until your 71/2th month.

I say trust your own instincts. And use good judgment.
