If the landlord has a Judgment in Florida and the state where the person currently works allows garnishment of wages then yes it could happen, but the landlord has to go into the courts in the state where the person works

Note: It matters greatly the state where the person currently works, since it’s that state laws on garnishment that are the controlling authority not Florida law

If a judgment is obtained then the next step is executing the judgment, in which there are many options available for the landlord to recover their money, including wage garnishment. The job being out of state does not matter.

If the former tenants job can be found...garnishment can be obtained. It does not matter if the tenants job is out of state.
