Good Scandinavian Metal Bands?
I'm looking for as many metal bands similar to Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, etc from the Norway, Sweden, etc area as you can think of.
If I had to pick two Opeth songs to put on a sampler CD for a friend, which two would you pick? I have all of their albums but can't decide which would be the best to initiate someone with.

There's plenty more, but that's a good list to get you started off with. And sorry, I don't listen to Opeth. =/ Nightwish is my favorite band though.

I feel so bad skipping over these links, lol. I just can't get into most harsh vocals, I'm sorry! :'O It distracts me from the music. Some of the only ones I like are from Draconian, Otep, and Cadaveria......but those are all well known (well, in metal terms at least). Thanks for trying to bring unknown bands to R&P though, haha. If you can find me a symphonic band with a clean vocalist, I'd be more than happy to answer! xD
