a good self instruct drum program?
i want to learn the drums, but i dont have access to a teacher, so what is agood drum program that i can learn how to play the drums on? cheap, plz? thanks

I learned by playing along to my favorite records (I know, records were a long time ago ;-) By not being 'told' what to do by a teacher I was able to develop my own style. After being self taught for several years I did take about 5-6 lessons and that helped with technique but wasn't truly necessary, though I did learn alot about drum theory and such with conversations and examples with the teacher.
If you're looking to get into the marching band style of drumming you can pick up any number of books about rudiments and practice, practice, practice.
