How much weight should I use if I run 2 miles 2 times a day?

I'm trying to get back into shape and I need to drop about 15 pounds. How fast can I expect that to happen if I do a 2 mile run in the morning and a 2 miler in the evening?? I stared yesterday.

Is this healthy on my knees, they don't hurt, but could it do damage?

Update:

I'm not running with weights... I'm trying to loose weight... 15 pounds is what I'd like to cut.

    its more about calorie intake than about exercise.

    example. i rode my bicycle 200miles in the last 2 weeks and lost 1 1/2lbs.

    a few months ago i ate about 1500 calories a day and wasn't riding my bike and lost 3lbs in 2 weeks .

    so there is no way of telling how much you lose without knowing your calorie intake.

    Enjoy your treats out of the house. Pop to the ice cream parlour for just a scoop of your favourite flavoring, or plan a meal treat with friends on the weekend. Turning your cravings into a great adventure takes the temptation outside of snacking at home.

    Think about what you can include to your diet, not what you must take away. Integrate appetizing veggies into your meal, rather than serving them on the side. Not only will they offset the fat as part of your chicken or meat, but the phytochemicals in fresh produce are which can prevent diseases.
