I think he's great.
True, his looks aren't quite what I imagined, but everyone pictures the characters differently in their mind.

i myself dont think of so because it is SO no longer how i imagined jane. i think of it is going to be somebody with like dark eyes and dark redish hair. and for vanessa hudgens i myself think of she might desire to be good as leah yet on the same time she is particularly fantastic. yet i dont think of dakota fanning might desire to play jane.
