If McCain had chosen Hilary Clinton as VP would he be getting the better of two worlds ?

I think he'd win the election because it would have drawn a significant number of Hillary voters, but it would have set up Hillary to be his successor. People would have been shocked, though! He would have been much better off taking Romney, anyway. From now on, throwing a "Hail Mary" should be known as throwing a "Sarah Palin." At this point, it looks like an Obama presidency.

I'm not sure Hillary was up for grabs by the Republican Party. Now, if the Democrats had picked the person with the most votes, Hillary would be sailing on through, no prob.

dang, that sure would have been funny. the neocons would have deserted, ron paul's campaign would have become meaningful, but mcShame would still have PUMA. in fact, now that i think of it, this is exactly the pairing that PUMA could really get behind. of course these folks are not really hilary's base however much they'd like us to believe it.
