Is it possible that a dealer can withdraw more amount then the fixed one from my visa card while shopping on ?

line, did it ever happen please help

    It is possible, if the dealer swiped the card multiple times instead of once. It had happened with me once, and there were multiple entries in my credit card statement.

    I called up the call center (HSBC) and they accepted my dispute. The transaction was reversed.
