    Someone who is obsessed with taking good care of his heart. The term literally means "love for or attraction to the heart".

    A person who is obsessed with the heart, how it sounds, the way it looks, etc. A cardiophile might usually be seen hanging around videos of heartbeats, a few minutes or twelve hours long. (They are usually the ones who comment on the videos, saying that they wish they could place their hand and/or ear on the person s chest.)

    Don t worry, I won t judge you if you re one, because I think I m one as well. Just right now I am listening to a fifteen minute video of someone s pounding heartbeat.

    Just what some other people said. cardio = heart phile = lover/attraction to. Used to label people who like listening to heartbeats, and looking at the heart beating, either live through ultrasound or CT scan or something or through the bulging up and down of the chest.

    I'm pretty sure that isn't an actual word, but it means (literally) a 'heart lover'. My guess is it's a reference to be addicted to having good cardiovascular health and fitness, ie: through good diet and significant exercise.

    (eg: a bibliophile is a lover of books, an audiophile is a lover of music, etc)

    well, to break down the term "cardio" means 'heart', and "phile" means 'something that loves'...so essentially it is "something that loves the heart". Maybe a bacteria that is attracted to or often attacks the heart? Try looking it up on wikipedia.

    Cardio= heart.

    It has to do with heart murmurs... I think it might be like a screening/reading of them.
