What Do You Think of This Outfit for a Guy?

Hey everyone. I ran out of answers (darn) so I'm going to post a question. Yay.

Anyways, I went out today and got this jacket/sweater thing from DKNY. It's a size smaller than I usually get, which made up for my Hollister fiasco.

Anyways, here's what I was thinking would look really nice with it.

Jacket/Sweater: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?I... It's actually houndstooth instead of checkers, and the sleeves are plain. Idk why.

I'm a little stuck on ideas of what to wear under it. Help?

The jeans aren't really cheap...and the top was actually less, it was 52$

The sweater is DKNY. And the shirt is only AlX, I don't see how it's "luxury"...
