not only do you want to write a resume, but you want to put together a portfolio, put your high school diploma, certificates(cpr,...ect), hobbies. also you want to make a cover sheet, that has your contact info.
put it all together:
1.cover letter
2.portfolio
3. resume
For your resume, make sure that every thing is PLAIN!!!!
choose 3 jobs that you had, explain what the title was, what your task were, how long you were there...
dont put why you left! they will ask you.
use a heading: with name and contact info
use black ink, dont do any thing fancy!!!

A resume is only a part of getting a good job. If you lack the skills, education, and experience, you're not going to get that good job.
When writing the resume focus on top skills and accomplishments per job. Your last three jobs would suffice. If all three are different, tailor it to a specific field (i.e. if you're looking for an administrative position, highlight skills and accomplishments in those three jobs that center towards administrative duties). Above all else, focus on good spelling, grammar, and punctuation. One small typo or error can send your resume straight to the trash.
Practice your interview ability and be smart. Look for jobs you're qualified for and have a shot at and just go for it. As my dad loves to remind me, "nothing ventured, nothing gained".
