Am I the only one who thinks that the internets suck now?
Geez, I remember a time when I could play all the old school games, watch all the movies and tv shows, and get all the information I wanted for free...now it's just redirects and commercials. All my favorite sites have been shut down, I'm just simply not having fun on the net right now. I guess I should just go outside and play two-square...
Do you know of any cool free sites to meet my high entertainment needs?

I agree, it's become so commercialized and full of spam. Every website that allows users' input has become infested with spammers. Look at Facebook groups, even Y!A has spammers. There never used to be pop-up ads, so you didn't need blockers. There were never any ads on people pages. I used to get heaps of info from all those GeoCities sites... Now it's just the big company websites that show up in searches, no matter what you type in. Even when you want some info, there'll always be some online shop showing up in the first few search results.
I've just watched the internet slowly become corrupted by greedy people. It's disgusting.

I think a lot of those resources are still out there. There's just so many websites now that it's hard to find the ones you're looking for. For your tv shows, just go to tvguide.com and then search the show you're looking for. A list of all of the available episodes from all over the internet are then compiled together for your convenience.
I'm sure there are some really good sites out there for games as well. Happy hunting. =)

if you have a safe way to get warez you can usually find what you want for free. redirects and commercials huh? where you been looking?
edit - hilltop hoods hatin', huh? you have no idea what you're on about. as far as hip hop groups overusing F words go, the hilltop hoods don't even rate a mention. their lyrics are very sedate by american gangsta standards. even the bit you're on about is just a soundbite of two guys talking before a song. haha, very informed, you are. you'll be getting your facts straight any day now.

There has been such an explosion of content online that I am no longer processing any new stuff. The old stuff and sites that I went to before I stopped bothering to find new stuff is getting boring. Even the sites that I love are changing radically.

What sort of games? Have you been to yahoo games...there is also a site http://www.miniclip.com/ for free games. If you really want free crap just download a torrent agent or a file sharing program like limewire and get everything you want for free. Just do a virus check before opening any files as they have become infested as of late.

I love the internet. I'm addicted. Try AOL. They have a lot of free stuff that is the old school game type.
