they each have their positive points but speaking no greek i can only claim to understand shakespeare. he certainly was a genius.
but the grreks paved the way for him so they deserve a great deal of respect in any case

The plays depend on your perception of them. One is not really "better" or "worse" than the other. Some people will find the greek dramas more enjoyable and others will prefer shakespeare

They are for different populations in VERY different times.
Plus, you are attempting to compare them in a THIRD time.
They are each excellent examples of the highest form of public entertainment of their day.
