Another questions for filipino call center agents..?

I read about this call center in Makati it says that it is a project based call center offering 30,000php monthly salary but the requirements are only basic like at least a highschool graduate even with no experience...

Isn't the salary a little too high?

I thought the average salary for noobs were like 15-23k php...

What does project based call center mean anyway?

Is this any different from a regular call center?

I am not sure on how they wanna mean the term "project-based"..but my best guess would be

    1. you will be based not on their 'main office' so you have to be prepared to be relocated somewhere else or

    2. the post is not on a permanent basis, that the length of your employment will depend on a third party's decision (or project availability)

the seemingly high salary posed (maybe) is to compensate for the 'catch' of the offer. And some ads arent completely honest, beware of scheming firms, that would lure you to invest money, and later on oblige you to sell/market 'unsaleable' items/service on commission basis.

better call them, and clarify these things first.

It depends on your location. In Baguio City, I heard the starting rates of call center agents starts at 12thou (without deductions, SSS, Philhealth, etc) while at Metro Manila area, salary usually starts at 18thou. If you are really good, promotion to supervisory position can fetch as high as 35thou plus. But different call centers have promotional incentives (example, plus 10k if you are hired immediately) or some insurance benefits so just choose which suits for your preference
