Don't you hate it when someone is texting during a movie?

So, yesterday I saw Ghost Town at the local Harkins Movie Theater and wanted to enjoy the movie BUT two rows ahead of me to my far right and 8 rows ahead to my far left were two people texting THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE. It wasn't really the texting. It was the annoying bright light that disrupts my vision. Seriously, what is so darn important to text during a movie? NOTHING. If it was that important, they would have left. But they didn't, so it must be pointless and stupid like them. (MORE VENTING!)

But who else here hates it when someone texts during a movie?

Yeah I hate when people text in the theater. I mean somehow I always get distracted by the light coming from their cell phone screen. Its funny, they paid money to see the movie, but they don't even watch it.

    Yes, it is distracting.

But what is somebody to do to get them to stop? Should you throw popcorn or candy at their head to get their attention? If you did, would they have even a clue why you were doing it?

If this is your biggest complaint, then I envy you.
