How do you know if an an angle does NOT have a complementary or supplementary angle?
I never understood that. Please explain that. Also, can a supplementary/complementary angle be negative?
According to my pre-calc textbook, it is possibe for an angle to NOT have a complement or supplementary angle.

All angles have both complementary and supplementary angles.
Two angles are called complementary angles if the sum of their degree measurements equals 90 degrees.
Two angles are called supplementary angles if the sum of their degree measurements equals 180 degrees.
Complementary angles of negative angles are negative.
Same for supplementary angles.
Positive angles are measured anticlockwise, and negative angles are measured clockwise,
