I would say lightweight-Marquez, Pacquaio, Casamayor, Diaz, etc. many are highly skilled, well trained, yet have power. I think lightweight is probably the one, though welters and middeleweights have a lot going for them, too.

LOL @ Knight De La Barre. That was funny!
And Rob H: Amir Khan is not in the mix because at this stage of his career because he is clearly not good enough. The fact that he charged in like an idiot against Breidis Prescott and got blown away in 54 seconds shows me that he does not have the intelligence or the punch resistance to compete and win World titles in the 135 category, given the strength in depth there is. The former can be addressed, but the fact that he was wiped out by Prescott in his first real test, and was decked at domestic level by Limond and Gomez (both blown-up Super Feathers) is very worrying. And it is the sort of worry that will probably never go away during the course of his career. Don't get me wrong - think Khan is very likeable guy, and I want him to succeed - it's just that I can't see him doing so in today's Lightweight division.
Back to the matter in hand: I would agre with most, and say 147 and 135. Other than that, for name boxers and potential big fights in around the division, I would also say 122. Those for me, are the most talent-packed and exciting divisions in boxing today.

Its Lightweight. No contest. Welterweight is not that exciting because all fighters in that division are hiding inside their grandma's skirt afraid to take on Margarito.

lightweight and welterweight. why?
lightweight-pacquiao, marquez, campbell, casamayor, juan diaz, katsidis, breidis prescott, amir khan etc. just check out the fights of all top lightweights.
welterweight-margarito, williams, cotto, mosley, berto, clottey, judah, quintana, mayweather( if he didn't retire, just to avoid getting hurt by these guys)

Diaz
Pac man
Khan
